We are Attending MIPIM

MIPIM here we come!

This March we’re heading back to the south of France — Cannes, to be exact — for our yearly trip to MIPIM, the world’s biggest real estate event.

If your French is as basic as ours, MIPIM stands for ‘le marché international des professionnels de l’immobilier’ — basically, a huge gathering of property people from across the globe. Tens of thousands of them, all piling onto the Côte d’Azur for a week to talk shop.

Most of our work is here in the North West, supporting the region’s property and construction industry. Our job is simple: we help keep sites, buildings, events – and the people in and around them – secure.
Tenant expectations these days are skyhigh. Whether it’s a live construction site, an apartment block, an office or a busy event, people want a smooth, safe experience from the moment they arrive to the point that they leave. And we know the Taurus team is often the first or last person they’ll meet.

We keep watch so our clients can crack on with what they do best: creating great places, building strong relationships, and shaping the future of our cities.

If you’d like to chat about how we can help protect your investment, give us a bell. We’ll talk you through it. In plain English, no faff.

Whilst we’ve been going to MIPIM for years (it started in 1990), this one is going to be VERY different. We’re taking our annual event up a notch.

Thanks to our international connections, we’re privileged to be accompanied by hip hop legend, The D.O.C.

Rapper, songwriter and record producer, the inspirational changemaker is doing an exclusive, invite-only, ‘In Conversation With’ for us during the conference.

With a tale to tell about the link between education, people, aspiration, music and the spaces where it all happens, he’s going to initiatives to elevate communities, engage young people and encourage change.

Following an extremely serious accident which took his voice in 1998, The D.O.C. has been on a long and arduous journey of recovery. Aware of the privilege provided by his career choice, and during his time of reflection and healing, he is driven to lay an easier road for those who would follow in his footsteps.

He’s keen to bring his inspirational programmes to the UK and has already made some initial steps on that journey becoming an ambassador for Radcliffe F.C.

With an unwavering belief that economic success should uplift everyone, not just a select few, he wants to bring the conversation on how that’s done to the worlds’ leading real estate event.
