The Christie Charity

This week our Operations Director, John Bruder, and Social Value Manager, Ian Mcaulay, had the pleasure of visiting The Christie Hospital to meet with the team at The Christie Charity and discuss how Taurus Security Group can continue to support the incredible work they do.

Having proudly supported last year’s Garden of Hope, an amazing event that brought people together while raising vital funds and awareness, we’re delighted to be continuing our relationship with The Christie Charity and supporting their upcoming events.

During our visit, we were fortunate to be guided around by the fantastic Anna McIntosh, Senior Corporate Development Manager, who gave us a valuable insight into the work taking place and the incredible difference The Christie Charity makes to patients, families and the wider community.

We also had the opportunity to discuss how Taurus Security Group can provide support at future events, not only through our professional security services, but by working alongside the charity wherever we can add value.

For us, supporting charities and community organisations is about much more than simply turning up on the day. It’s about building meaningful relationships, understanding the needs of the communities around us, and using our people, expertise and resources to make a positive contribution.

As a business, we believe that social value and community engagement should be at the heart of what we do. Local charities play such an important role in supporting people, creating opportunities, bringing communities together and making a lasting difference, and we’re proud to play our part.

We’re incredibly grateful to Anna McIntosh and everyone at The Christie Charity for taking the time to meet with us and show us more of the fantastic work being carried out.

We’re looking forward to working together, supporting their upcoming events and being part of the The Christie Charity journey.

💙 Proud to support our communities. Proud to create social value. Proud to be Taurus Security Group.
